On March 8, 2025, civilian martyr Wissam Suleiman al-Mouay was martyred in his home in the village of Nahr al-Bared, in front of his family and children. This heinous crime added to a series of massacres committed against innocent people in that stricken area. It's worth noting that the martyr's body remained in front of his family for hours, amid a state of terror and threats resulting from the frequent massacres, robberies, looting, and intimidation that had plagued the village. His home had been looted the previous day under the pretext of a search. The attackers returned the next day and demanded he open the door, then shot him as soon as he entered.
