We demand an international investigation into the massacres that took place on the Syrian coast, which resulted in the killing of more than 200 children, as well as the theft of properties, jewelry, and belongings worth over $500 million. We also demand accountability for those who incited and participated in the killings and torture, including Mohamed Jaber, Fetihe, the Minister of Defense of the Syrian government, and other officials. We demand that the government: 1. Return all stolen properties and belongings to their rightful owners. 2. Reveal the location of mass graves and the fate of the bodies that were thrown into the sea or sewers by the army or armed groups. 3. Hold accountable those who incited and participated in the massacres against the Alawite and Christian communities. 4. Allow the displaced people to return to their homes, especially in Latakia, and compensate them for their losses. 5. Punish the governor of Latakia for covering up the theft of dozens of properties, especially in coastal areas and farms. We call on the families of the victims to hold funeral processions over several days to show the world the brutality of the extremist armed groups that are affiliated with ISIS, Al-Nusra, and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
